Terms
Quote validity and payment deadlines
Quote validity: All quotes are valid for 7 calendar days from the date issued.
Deposit deadline: Your initial deposit must be paid within 3 calendar days of accepting the quote to secure a slot on the writing calendar.
Final balance deadline: Any remaining balance must be paid within 7 calendar days of the deposit (or before the first submission date, whichever comes first).
Late payments: If a payment is late by 48 hours, IBS pauses work until payment clears and timelines shift accordingly.
Reactivation fee: Restarting a paused file may require a paid reactivation fee (applies when the pause causes calendar disruption and the team must rebuild timelines).
Revisions and Scope control

Included revisions (standard):
Each major document includes 2 revision rounds. Revisions must be requested within 7 days of receiving the draft, otherwise the draft is considered accepted. -
What counts as a revision:
Improvements to structure, clarity, program fit, storytelling, and tightening language within the agreed direction.
Assistantship and post admission support
- IBS includes post admission assistantship support for up to 2 opportunities (for example 2 assistantship outreach campaigns, 2 faculty outreach targets, or 2 negotiation support tracks).
- Additional assistantship opportunities beyond 2 are billed at $100 USD per opportunity.
- High volume outreach or intensive cycles may be offered as a retainer: $500 USD per month.
Communication policy
- All communication is managed through one primary channel (email or WhatsApp).
- IBS response time is within 24 business hours, Monday to Friday.
- Weekend support and communication not guaranteed unless a rush service is purchased.
No Guarantees
- IBS cannot guarantee admissions, scholarships, funding, assistantships, or interview outcomes.
- Decisions are made by institutions and committees.
Payment is valid for one application cycle only
- Each IBS package applies to one admissions cycle only (one intake term and year).

If you defer, change intakes, or delay submissions beyond the agreed cycle, you may either:
• purchase a cycle extension for $750 USD, or
• start a new engagement if the scope has materially changed.
No Refunds
- Non-refundable services: IBS services are time and capacity based. Once onboarding begins, all payments are non-refundable, including if you decide not to apply, change your plans, miss deadlines, or become unresponsive.
- Termination due to misconduct: If IBS must terminate the engagement due to client misconduct or repeated non-compliance, payments remain non-refundable because time and effort have already been invested.
What counts as a rewrite (extra charge):
- Any request that changes the original strategy or requires rebuilding documents from scratch, including:
- Changing programs, degree type, or research focus after drafting
- Changing your primary narrative direction after drafts are completed
- Withholding critical information and adding it later, requiring major reconstruction
- Replacing schools after work is completed for those schools
- Fees for additional work:
- Additional revision rounds beyond what is included: $150 USD per round per document
- Full rewrite of a major document (SOP or personal statement): $450 USD per rewrite
- New school added after strategy is finalized: $600 USD per school (includes school specific positioning and document alignment)
Pause in payments equals pause in work
- IBS operates on a pay to progress basis. If scheduled payments stop, work also stops.
- Delays caused by paused payments may require reprioritization and may not be able to resume immediately.
Right to decline or terminate
- IBS reserves the right to decline clients or end engagements that involve abusive behavior, harassment of employees, non-cooperation, or repeated missed deadlines and no responses.
